bitotas Hi cabledogg2, thank you for all the shows you have offered.

I have a "Mad Shadows" that I got on a trade, with the same setlist from this torrent. The one I got has some background noise, I think from a vinyl transfer.

Can you tell me if this torrent is from the same souce?.
Thank you.

Angiegirl Mine is very slow, only 15-20 kb/s (download). I don't have the fastest connection, but also not the slowest. Does this have to do with my internet connection speed anyway? I have my upload max. at 35 and it's 33/34 all the time. Should I increase the max. upload rate? I'm soooo new to Bittorrent.
August 24th, 2005 06:04 PM
Angiegirl Now down to 9/10 kbps download...
August 24th, 2005 06:11 PM
Flairville Mine keeps varying from 3 kbs to 125, I can't explain why though! I was on target to have it by midnight but not any more, it'll just mean I'll be up all night and I've been doing that too frequently lately!
August 24th, 2005 06:16 PM
pdog If I use a particular bit totrent client, do I only share with users of that same client? I'm using ABC (another bittorrent client).
If yes, maybe we should all get on the same client...
My DL has been dropping and rising a bit too. I figure right now is probably a high traffic time, and so many of us are grabbing this one. I will leave mine open as long as I can so as many people can grab it up.
August 24th, 2005 06:16 PM
beer What percent have you got so far?

I just checked mine and I'm at 66.6% LOL!

August 24th, 2005 06:23 PM
Angiegirl I'm only at 15%...

At this 'rate' It'll be ready tomorrow afternoon.

No, I don't think that matters. Right, experts?
August 24th, 2005 06:26 PM
charlotte if you are experiencing slow download speeds, one of three things could be wrong...

1. your hard drive is full and/or the space has not been allocated properly. stop all running programs, and run scan disc on every hard drive, and fix all the errors (if there are any). then make sure that you have enough space to download the files in the torrent.

2. your machine, network, etc. is not properly configured. please read the information at the following address to solve this problem...

http://userpages.umbc.edu/~hamilton...ientconfig.html

3. there is not enough available memory in your system. shut down the programs, then turn off/shut down your machine, wait about thirty seconds, and boot your computer back up again.

unless of course, the torrent you are connected to has no seeds - in that case just stay connected, and hope that a seed connects to the swarm soon...

August 24th, 2005 06:32 PM
pdog 70% @ 30 kb/s
August 24th, 2005 06:57 PM
mac_daddy sweet!!!

i know this taper, too - the recording should sound quite nice (he uses nice gear, and knows what he is doing)...

August 24th, 2005 07:03 PM

not necessarily. You have to remember that hardly anyone has a completed copy. Theres about 116 people on it at the minute - when more of them get it completed, you'll find your download time decreases dramatically
August 24th, 2005 07:20 PM
beer 82% now

getting closer.....

Wanna hear "Night Time"!

August 24th, 2005 07:22 PM
Angiegirl Yes, I figured that out a few minutes ago, never been too good at math and logic .

Maybe that's why I didn't start filesharing earlier (that, and the fact that I've got a relatively small harddisk (20 GB) and a data transfer limit of 2 GB per month at my ISP (better subscriptions are too expensive for me)...
