LONDON (AP) -- Lyrics handwritten by Paul McCartney to the hit "Goodbye," John Lennon's exam results and a guitar signed by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards went on display at Christie's auction house.
Christie's will sell more than 200 items of music memorabilia, including items from the Beatles, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, Robbie Williams, Madonna and Oasis on Thursday.
There are more than 80 lots connected with the Beatles, including gold discs, autographs, long-playing records, toys, mugs and other souvenirs that fans collected, the auction house said Tuesday.
The rare page of lyrics to "Goodbye" is expected to bring up to $45,000. The 14 lines in black pen show guitar chord annotations, deletions and alterations to the classic song.
The sale also includes exam results sheets for John Lennon from the Liverpool College of Art in 1960.
A Fender Squier Stratocaster electric guitar signed by Jagger and Richards is estimated to bring up to $1,800.
