sirmoonie This bring back memories for anyone?

Oh, the chills back in high school, tix in hand, watching that commercial knowing it was the LAST time The Who would ever, ever, ever tour America.

I need a Schlitz. Schlitz me!

The Who!

Is it true that a ' Dust Storm ' hit Tempe during the middle of the concert ?

Dan I watched the ON-TV PPV with my aunt and cousin. I still remember it vividly.

Also just listened to both The Who and Jethro Tull from Boulder.

I don't think I ever had Schlitz.

On Friday I finished up what was left of a 12 pack of Sapporo then had a 40 ouncer of Miller High Life.

telecaster There is a bar a block from my house that has Schlitz cans for $1

I actually like it

Hard to think it was the #1 best selling beer in America until the late 70's

Me too.

I caught the first show of that tour, September 22, 1982. Waited outside the Capital Centre for three days to get tickets. Ended up sitting closer than the seats I bought.

The show was great - why was the Who's Last album so bad?

lotsajizz Me three..my oft told story was set in first semester freshmen year at UM, the show was the Saturday after Thanksgiving at the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando...I believe Josh said he was there too....that'd make four of us here who saw the Who that tour
