Soldatti,

How high did "You Got Me Rocking" get on the Mainstream chart? I wanna say number 2?

You Got Me Rocking on Billboard's charts:

Mainstream Rock Tracks
Date: 23/07/1994 - Run: 36-35-33-25-22-23-16-14- 9-3-*2*-3-3-7-10-17-26-32-40 (19 wks)

Bubbling Under Hot 100
Date: 21/01/1995 - Run: 117-*113* (2 wks)

The song also made the Cashbox chart, along with All Down The Line, the only singles that charted on Cashbox but not on Billboard.

US Cashbox: 10/12/1994 - Run: 91-83-*81*-81-81-81-82-86 (8 wks)

Soldatti,

Thanks for that info. I seem to remember that radio really picked up on YGMR early, even when then Stones were still pushing "Love Is Strong". I think radio was playing it well before the Stones had actually put it out as a single.

Poison Dart "A Bigger Bang" spent two weeks at #1 on the global album chart.

For whatever reason Billboard is looked upon at the definitive chart, but for two weeks in 2005 the Stones had the best selling record in the world.
