bloodtv So, I'm a HUGE BIG STAR fan, I'll admit it. First CD in 30 yrs....Is...AWFUL. I have no idea what the company thought...this stuff is unreleasable...so sad. Bonnie Raitt's new one is, eh, so-so, and not even as good as the last mediocre cd- Silver Lining, and Ryan Adams (who I saw do Wild Horses & Brown Sugar in NYC's Roseland on the GOLD tour a few yrs back) disappoint grandly with his new one- Jacksonville nts. So, at least the cd I purchased before all of these- Bigger Bang still packs a wallop! Anybody see the new video for Streets of Love on VH1?

LeedsLungs71 If you want to hear a stinker 2005 release, check out Eric Clapton's "studio slick" Back Home album.

I am also in shock over the sheer terribleness of this album. It is incomprehensible to me that anyone would let them sully the Big Star name with this horrific record. The worst album I can remember hearing by a "group" I respect. Period.

Bodes awful scary for the New York Dolls.

haven't heard this new release tho i had heard it was in the offing - disappointing to hear your report - and even more disappointing that nasty has confirmed your assessment and thus i would expect that it is a dud
