gypsy Has anyone in U.S. bought the latest Mojo magazine yet?
I am curious as to when to expect it to be at the bookstores.
I think it usually hits the shelves on the East Coast first.
I've seen it on ebay for over $20...and that didn't even include S&H.

Sir Stonesalot Hasn't hit the backwoods of PA yet...as of this past Tuesday. I can usually find it in the 2nd week of the issue month. And I never have to rush because Mojo never sells out.

Martha My issue has not arrived in the mailbox yet. Stay tuned.

This isn't a SPECIAL issue though ...or is it? I don't get their special issues included as a part of my yearly subscription.

gypsy Thanks everyone! Sometimes, they only put two or three issues on the shelf...so I feel as though I've got to check in with the bookstores quite often, or I'll end up paying some obscene amount for it on ebay.

Martha, I listened to Van Leer Rose for the first time yesterday...love it! Except for one song where Loretta reverts back to her old style where she wants to beat up a woman who stole her man. I hate that. I remember those songs on my grandma's 8-track--y'know "Fist City" and "You Ain't Woman Enough to Take My Man." Lame songs like that piss me off. I wish she wouldn't have put one on this album. But the other songs are so good, they factor that one out.
