Just wanted to let y'all know that Sirius Radio Channel 99 is a 24/7 Stones channel. I finally got Sirius in my car, and I love it. I think the Stones Channel might unfortunately be a temporary promotional thing, or perhaps a trial thing that they'd continue if it was a hit. But for as a long as it lasts, I'm digging it.
They're playing plenty of old and new gems, but what REALLY surprised me is a song called Road Runner, which I had never heard before in my life!! Some old unreleased cover song from 1963, which sounded great. My wife ragged on me for not recognizing a stones song, after bragging so much that I know every tune like the back of my hand.

Roadrunner is a Bo Diddley classic, Jackass.

Their rendition of Roadrunner isn't really an outtake. It's one of they're IBC demo's from March 1963. It was recorded before they even had a record deal!
The other songs they recorded during this session are...
Diddley Daddy
Bright Lights, Big City
I Want To Be Loved
Honey What's Wrong?
All are available in fine quality, but the performances are a tad lacking in my opinion.

Lethargy,
if you dug the Stones version check out Diddley's original. As well as the Aerosmith version on thier latest. And theres a pretty good version on the "BackBeat" soundtrack - the Stu Sutcliffe Beatle movie. The band was made up of Greg Duhli (Afghan Wigs), Dave Grohl (Nirvana), Dave Pirner (Soul Asylum) and a bunch of others.
