09-24-03 02:36 PM
sirmoonie I hate whitey too.
09-24-03 02:37 PM
jb Whitey Ford?
09-24-03 02:42 PM
sirmoonie No. Honkey whitey. I hate honkey whitey. White honks, hate them. Hate o' honk.

Joey

Whitey Herzog ?!?!?!

Prodigal Son That Marlins WS was the best championship team money could buy. That fucking dolt Wayne Huiezenga hijacked the World Series for one year, but like Blockbuster you had to return your rentals back-so goodbye Leiter, Alou, Conine, Bonilla, Hernandez, a bunch of other free agent, high-priced stars.
True, Bonds is a "Whitey" hater, but he is pretty awesome you have to admit. His comments about Babe Ruth being obsolete were quite desperate and pointless. He said he felt bad about passing his Godfather's total but had Ruth in sight. So he didn't play vs. the best negro players, so what! Doesn't mean Babe wasn't the greatest. How a fat, drunk, food bag could hit 50 dingers a year when no one else was and put up unparalleled slugging numbers is unbelievable. He saved baseball after the Black Sox scandal and was also a fantastic pitcher too. Bonds used to have better all-round skills than Ruth, but the hitting goes to the babe. My team, the Blue Jays, well they're average but if we played in the easy AL Central we'd be the champs. Try a division with the Bosox and Yansk any day and see how you do, Twins.
-Prodigal Baseball fan

!!!!Roy Halladay for Cy Young (21-7 record, 7 CG, 3.10 ERA in toughest hitting division in the league, 2nd in strikeouts; stupid writers will give it to Pedro Martinez, Roy gets no respect I tell ya!), Reed Johnson for rookie of the year (.296 avg., 20 game hitting streak as well as a previous 18 game one. Ah well, that 40 year old scar face Matsui will get it instead), Vernon Wells (1st in hits with 212, .321 avg., 117 RBI, 32 HR, only 3rd centre fielder ever to hit 100 RBIs in first two seasons along with hall-of-famers Al Simmons and Joe Dimaggio)/Carlos Delgado (136 RBI, .300 hitter, 37 HR) for MVP (hmmm, it's a tossup in the AL)!!!!

Boomy Hizzy up the shiznit...if ya hate whitey say "Yeahhhhhhhhh"

Well, Prodigal son. Someone that used to play in Toronto could win MVP. I was listening to Tony Kornheiser (who seems to be a Stones fan [always says "If you are going out on your bikes, always wear white], but a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge Beatles fan, since he said "Sgt. Peppters" is the best album ever!!!!) and I think Peter Gammons said Shannon Stewart could win it.

jb No Moonie...but I have used "oriental delights" message therapy.
09-24-03 02:56 PM
sirmoonie Check it bleeds....what did whitey EVER do for us, huh? Thats right. Whitey ain't done JACK! Thats why I hates whitey!
09-24-03 02:56 PM
Prodigal Son Yeah, Stewart was one of ours. We've found a suitable lead off replacement in Reed Johnson, the kid is something. Just went 3-4 with 4 RBI and a homer and is on a 20 game hitting tear in which he bats .400. Shannon was always good for us, but that deal was bad. Is that all they could get from minnesota; that pudgy fiery redhead Bobby Kielty? Some other kinks in the deal, but if Stewart and his 6mil contract sign back with the Twins, it's definitely J.P. Ricciardi's worst deal. He did a good job replacing the inconsistent Jose Cruz Jr., Alex Gonzalez, Felipe Lopez and Cezare Izturis but the pitching is dreadful. Only a few starters are worth keeping and the bullpen is even worse. All but a few of them are not even A-ball worthy. Stewart could be a huge candidate considering he turned them around. And if Toronto was in the wild card hunt, Halladay and Wells could be considered (not Delgado, he slumped recently and is maybe the most frustrating 40 hr-130 RBI player ever).

Boomy Why don't you guys bring back Alomar, Olerud, etc to bring back the "aura" of the early 90's? LOL.
09-24-03 03:17 PM
sirmoonie Josh, you can get $250-300 one hour incall - full service - excellent quality. Something to think about.
09-24-03 03:20 PM
jb A lot cheaper than the 40k i've spent winning and dinning my friend(s).
09-24-03 03:29 PM
gypsy For $5, I sure hope that was a helluva GIANT Kosher hot dog...I'd hate for jb to get cheated.
09-24-03 03:31 PM
Sir Stonesalot Oh that's right JB...you are a Marlins fan.

You know what I enjoy...

I enjoy listening to that wonderful 7 disc slice of heaven known as the "'72 Stones Touring Party Box".

I was gonna burn you a copy of it too...but Ganesh (the greater being that I decided to believe in this month) says that I can't do that for someone who is a Florida Marlins fan. Ganesh says Marlins fans suck, and must be treated as retarded midget lepers. How unlucky for you to put up that post just minutes before I was set to start burning discs for you.

Ganesh says that there is always a sunny side of events. Here is your sunny side...If I lived anywhere near you, I'd be schtupping your wife behind your back. So even if you don't get any discs out of me, at least I'm not doing anal with your wife.

When you come home
You eat yo pork & beans
But I eats mo' chicken
Than any man ever seen

I'm a back door man

Prodigal Son Well Boomy, Alomar and Olerud are washed up these days. Right now, the Jays have a plethora of AA and AAA future stars in the outfield to go along with next year's crew of Wells, Johnson, Kielty, Howie Clark (also a 3rd baseman batting .362 this year) (there's no room to bring back the .290 addition of Frank Catalanatto). The Jays are solid in prospects except for the catching, pitching and 3rd base departments. The infield will be the same, but we need a goddang shortstop. Mike Bordick has been awesome but he has hinted at this being his final year, while Chris Woodward sucks. At 2nd, it's Orlando Hudson and Dave Berg, at 3rd the okay-hitting, terrible at defense Eric Hinske, Delgado and Josh Phelps may be alternating between DH and 1B. The Jays may have to say goodbye to Carlos in a year's time because Halladay needs a high-paying extension. Catchers will stay I hope at Greg Myers, Tom Wilson and the light-hitting Kevin Cash. Pitching? Ugh. Only Halladay, Josh Towers and Mark Hendrickson deserve to stay on this staff. Escobar is a head case. Let the Yankees take his sorry ass. The bullpen has some young up n' comers for next year such as Vinnie Chulk but needs to only keep Jason Kershner, Aqualino Lopez, Trevor Miller and that's about it. There's your Blue Jay wrap-up. It's a high-powered offense, but some defensive troubles on the left side of the infield and at 1st with some awful relievers and inconsistent starting pitching. That's what makes Halladay amazing. Before being kicked out of a game two days ago for no reason, he had worked 43 innings with only 1 earned run. 4 straight complete games, 3 of them shutouts (against the Yankees, Tigers and Orioles). He's amazing, but the media loves to give it to more Northeast guys so look for Martinez or Pettite to get the nod. Loiaza has played himself out of the running.

sirmoonie Remember when Juan Marichal clubbed Jon Roseboro over the head with a bat? What a jerk.
