Just watching "John Lennon vs The USA". One of the people (maybe Gordon Liddy, maybe Gore Vidal)interviewed was saying "See, the US wasn't worried about people like Mick Jagger. They were just longhaired gits with too much money Hahah..But with Lennon there was an intellectual force behind it.."
And that is true. I found that Jagger tried to play both sides of the coin. You know, reap the rewards without having ever to commit. be considered equal with Lennon, but not even committing to flashing either the peace or the power sign. Keith e.g. never wavered. he didn't want anything to do with any of it. Just a musician.
