Thats probably my favourite U2 record - and its mainly because of Pavarotti's vocal, which is possibly the most spine-chilling, goosebump-inducing performance I've ever heard on any rock song. You dont have to understand Italian to be moved by every word he's singing. The hallmark of a top class singer.

Indeed. What a performance. Bono's voice was superb also. Was that Dave Stewart on guitar?

Yeah he had a girlfriend in NJ who I worked with a while back. He was always promising her they would get engaged someday, so he was a typical man - what a line! I dont think he had trouble getting girls though, they would line up for him! Not screaming like rock chicks, just posing and waving, lol. I think he had girlfriends all over the world,,,just wondering, was he ever married?

Sad that she lost her daddy at such a young age. She'll be well provided for I'm sure, but that means he was about 67 years old when he fathered her. So, there's still hope for another MICK heir! L'wren better get busy now that MICK has some spare time, lol! Her biological clock is tick tick ticking! But a man doesn't have a biological clock it seems.

sirmoonie Pavo's music was allright, but nothing Charles Manson would kill anybody for. Maybe he'd get all up in someone's face, but that's about it.
