** It is Three O'clock on a Tuesday afternoon and our hero Sparky is happily snoozing away in the Den ( Home Office / Working Area ) of the Lugar Compound . The MaxLugar
is sitting down in his long , black leather chair talking on the phone with The Joey **
Joey : " Ya know , you are just wrong -- just plain wrong . Your party is telling
The American People that they can have both Guns & Butter and that is WRONG .
You can't
you shouldn't have both guns and butter . "
Maxy : "
.but they tell me were are winning
. They keep telling me we are winning
this thing ! "
Joey : " I do not care what advice you are getting
or from whom -- You are NOT
Winning . The War is too slow , we are losing the battle at home and it is going to DESTROY both your party and yourself "

Maxy : " WE CAN'T

.. " ( voice trails off and the Joey hears wimpering
at the end of the line )
Maxy : " Come on Sparky
. We need to PRAY !!!! "
****** A Startled Sparky is jolted out of his deep slumber and looks askance at the MaxLugar ******
******** Audience begins to cheer in unison **********
Sparky : Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!!
Maxy : " Dear Lord , please help my beloved Republican Party find a way out of this
Horrific Iraqi Quagmire . Our approval ratings are now at record low levels and DROPPING !!! "
Sparky : ** Sparky begins to snarl , bares his teeth and literally GLOWERS at the Lugar . **
Maxy : " I just know Lord that you are a Republican and that in some manner / some way we
can put this mess behind us and have a unified party at next summer's convention in Minneapolis
. "
Sparky : *** Sparky can not take it anymore --- He LUNGES at the MaxLugar and sinks his fangs
DEEP into Maxy's Jugular . *** The screams are INCREDIBLE !!!! ***
{ Standing Ovation + Deafening Applause + and audience brays : " Yeeeeaaah
Go SPARKY !!! }
Sparky : " WHOOF !!!! "

Or enlarged at ' Shidobee ' beyond what he was at ' Rocks Off ' .
He IS to be remembered as a kind and decent man ;
A man who saw wrong and tried to right it ...
Saw suffering and tried to heal it ...
Saw War and tried to STOP it .
And those of us who loved him ** Young Joey's voice now cracking with visceral and heartfelt emotion *** ;
And who take him to his ' transition ' here today .
Know that what he was and what he stood for ;
Will someday come to pass for all the world .
As he said many times in many posts throughout the decades ;
" Some Men see message boards the way they are and say , ' Why ?!?! ' ..... ' WHY ?!?! ' .........
I dream of message boards that never were and say , ' WTF ?!?! ' !!!!!!!! "
