The setting takes place in the MaxLugar's den at his sprawling Estate on Long Island . It is the first day of summer and here we see a disillusioned and defeated MaxLugar sitting in front of the television with all of the lights off - blinds closed - slurping drink after drink of ' Dewers & Water ' whilst watching the movie ' Patton ' over and over again . Even though the temperature outside is in the Mid - Nineties and the AC is cranked , the Lugar has a roaring fire going in the Fireplace - sweat pouring off his forehead - whilst a fan is circulating the air above him . The Lugar has let his white hair grow very long ( like a hippy )[ see : LBJ , 1970 - 1973 ] , has stopped bathing & grooming himself ( ** Phew ** !!! ) and stares blankly and uncomprehendingly at the television screen -- like cows in a passing train . Shiver .........................
Meanwhile - located directly behind the sofa - lies our brave hero , Sparky ( Thunderous Applause from the audience + Standing Ovation .... Yeeeaaah Sparky !!!!! ) , desperately knawing at the rope being used to chain him to this squalid nightmare ; deriving strength from his knowledge that once he breaks free he can escape to The Joey's land of Democratic Party hope , peace , blissful merriment and exalting happiness ...free to live a life of religious fulfillment .

Sparky : ***** Sparky begins to frown . grrrrrrrrrrrrrr ******
Maxy : " Dear Lord , please help my beloved Republican Party to somehow
find a path out of Iraq . Things have gone horribly wrong over there and those
people - like the great Ronald Reagan used to say - are friggin " Crazy " .
Sparky : **** Sparky begins to growl , snarl and bares his teeth -- a frightening
look comes over his snout as Lugar continues his peroration ****
Maxy : " Oh Lord , I know if Sparky and myself pray hard enough , you
will lead the American Troops out of that disaster without a "
Sparky : *** Sparky lunges at the Maxlugar and bites off his right ear -- the screams
are INCREDIBLE . Sparky goes outside in the backyard , with severed ear in mouth ,
and begins to uncover his secret burial place of captured Lugar body parts ( consisting
of the following : fingers , toes , nose , right testicle , and entire left forearm )
Sparky deposits the ear amongst the detritis and sneaks out of the MaxLugar Compound .
********** CUT TO SCENE ***********
Sparky : ***** Sparky now walks over to the Joey's house and knocks
on the door . Joey answers and Sparky begins to lick young Joey all over
the face *****
Joey : " Good Boy .. Good Boy " Hey Lil' buddy , wanna have some fun today ?! "
Sparky : " WHOOF !!! "
Joey : *** Joey leads Sparky to a kennel in his backyard . The kennel is full of
dogs that are ' guests ' of Joey's secretaries ( Joey allows his secretaries to keep their dogs in his kennel whilst they are on vacation ) . Joey opens the gate and allows
Sparky to enter .. " Have fun boy "
Sparky : ***** Sparky humps all day and night ******
The secretaries still can not understand why their female animals become
pregnant after staying at Joey's kennel .
Sparky : ***** Winks at camera with a mischevious grin on his face *****
