moy Stones ‘Spend the Night Together,’ hit Hub with ‘Honky Tonk’ hotties

Rolling Stones Mick Jagger and Ron Wood partied like, well, rock stars the night before they pulled out of Boston bound for the Great White North.

The duo, who on Wednesday night wailed at Gillette Stadium, hung around the Hub until Friday when they departed for Nova Scotia, which left Thursday evening open for some Undercover Of The Night fun and games!

The boys and their posses began the festivities separately at their fave Hub haunt, Via Matta.

“When Mick saw Ron and his crew, he went over and said, ‘Thursday Boys Night Out? I’m in!’ ” said our spy on the scene. Guess Mick would Much Rather Be With The Boys!

The Rolling crew hit Sonsie next then Rumor at about 1 a.m., where they really ripped it up. The club roped off the stage area and only allowed 30 gals inside to dance with the pair of rock ’n’ roll Peter Pans.

“They had security guards grab the hottest girls in the house and they brought them onstage and they danced all around Mick and Ron,” said our spy. “The girls were dancing on tables, ‘Satisfaction’ was playing when they came in and they loved it. They partied their (bleeps) off.”

Earlier that same night, Wood popped in on his longtime pal Peter Wolf at the Camp Street Studio in Cambridge where the Woofa Goofa is putting the finishing touches on a new album. And where, natch, Ronnie couldn’t resist the opportunity to jam!

‘Far Away Eyes’?

And speaking of the Stones, a steamed fan is complaining to Mick’s peeps and Ticketmaster after he ponied up more than $2,000 for four “Dream Experience” seats at the Gillette Stadium show - and couldn’t see the band!

Dave Bertolino, the ex-sultan of SpookyWorld, said his onstage seats were a real horror show as his view was completely blocked by two rows of ticketholders in front of him.

“What a disaster,” Bertolino said. “We were standing behind two rows of people. We had ZERO view of the stage and all we could see was the audience.”

Bertolino said he paid $510 each for four “Dream Experience” tickets, which offered SRO seating in a special onstage elevated box behind the band. Since the experience was less than Dreamy, he wants a refund!

Stones spokesgal Fran Curtis said the band has used the stage for more than a year at all the “Bigger Bang” tour stops with very few problems.

“But the policy is clear, if people are unhappy they are offered alternative seating or refunds,” she said.

Bertolino said he and about 20 other disgruntled “Dream Experience” ticketholders were escorted down to alternate viewing spots and that he ended up watching from the side of the stage, with no seat.

“The Gillette people were great,” he said. “This is basically the Rolling Stones deal.”

But Curtis said Bertolino’s final perch - within spitting distance of Jagger - was so fabulous he and his group didn’t want to move when alternate seats became available.
