Col Hi folks.

I'm a musician/songwriter from Scotland. Just asking for some wee advice.

Can anyone recommend any jazz or blues standards that would be good to play as a duet in a restuarant/bar/cafe setting? Using a guitarist and a female singer, the kind of jazzy tunes that would set a romantic, sexy and classy atmosphear. Any ideas?

jcdesq My advice to you is to play some Milt Jackson or Oscar Peterson, if you have a piano. I've always thought that Peterson's song "Hymn to Freedom" is one of the prettiest pieces of music ever written. It is really beautiful.

Then, once you have selected your music, you should jerk off into a piece of paper and light it on fire. It is proven if you are a white person, and you do this in Jamaica, it will keep the blacks with the machetes from hacking you up and stealing your money. I think it is some kind of Voodoo. Maybe this is where Keith came up with the album and tour name "Voodoo Lounge."
