So i put it on, just before my guests
(1 male, 1 female, french, unmarried, but with child)
arrived.
The Girlfriend's in the kitchen cooking & cleaning (as usual)
and I have about 30mns before the guests (age 37 & 33) will be
knocking on the (goddess in the)door(way).
It's kickback time for Egon.....
I listended to about 4 songs of it, and with each one i'm
thinking: this could have been quite a good song.
But it's not.
I mean "god gave me everything" is sort of ok if
you are having one of those parties that spin out of control. Then you should play it really loud,
while throwing a tv out of a window or something.
But other than that, the overproduction
(read: violins from a box), starts to
annoy me big time after a few songs.
So i made the wise decision of turning it off
before the guests (magali & alain) arrived.
Luckily i managed to wash the bitter aftertaste away with some black crows,
rod stewart, ac/dc & last but not least;..... exactly!
In the end a good time was had by all.
And afterwards, while my girlfriend was cleaning the table
& kitchen, i took my copy of goddess and placed it next to my
2 (two) cds of bon jovi, my 1 (one) cd of JOHN bon jovi,
my 3 (yes that's three) cds of the corrs & my 1 (one) cd of snap,
which are all conveniently kept in a special cd rack close to the trashcan.
It shall never be played again..... this year.

yes, i'm actually "finalising" my week now.
You know; throwing away some old papers, putting my pen
in the drawer, finishing the last bit of coffee,
surfing the internet.
This way i'll be starting my weekend stress free.
