Jumping Jack So, is Schroeder gone? Chirac next?
September 19th, 2005 02:22 PM
Thing One Ricky Schroeder is gone? Silver Spoons? That kid had the greatest toy train. I imagine jb grew up with a train like that. And Star Wars bed sheets.
September 19th, 2005 02:29 PM
jb You are one of the few left whom I truly loath...
September 19th, 2005 02:33 PM
Jumping Jack Thank you JB. I must know, do you loathe me more than Macca or Bono?
September 19th, 2005 02:35 PM
Thing One How come every time jb makes a stupid post, and I bust his balls for it, he deletes the post? That's just so Cindy Brady.

Sadly, Stewed and Keith, I also do not get along with this fella either. I wouldn't say I loath him as much as Macca/U2/Thing One, but when I go to his city for a show , he shall not be greeted ....

Please behave, Josh is a true friend of mine and I asked to delete that thread when I can do it myself, I sent a private message to him

I have noticed that you're hostile with Josh, please stop he's nice with you and if you don't agree with him, please discuss but don't insult him, thanks in advance

Scotland the Brave

Hark when the night is falling,
Hear! hear the pipes are calling,
Loudly and proudly calling,
Down thro' the glen.
There where the hills are sleeping,
Now feel the blood a-leaping,
High as the spirits of the old Highland men.
Chorus
Towering in gallant fame,
Scotland my mountain hame,
High may your proud standards gloriously wave,
Land of my high endeavour,
Land of the shining river,
Land of my heart for ever,
Scotland the brave.
High in the misty Highlands
Out by the purple islands,
Brave are the hearts that beat
Beneath Scottish skies.
Wild are the winds to meet you,
Staunch are the friends that greet you,
Kind as the love that shines from fair maidens' eyes.
Chorus
Far off in sunlit places
Sad are the Scottish faces,
Yearning to feel the kiss
Of sweet Scottish rain.
Where the tropics are beaming
Love sets the heart a-dreaming,
Longing and dreaming for the hameland again.
Chorus

KeepRigid The title of this thread is misleading. Had me worried there for a second.

a truly great, stirring song

Maybe Keith will sing it in Glasgae next year instead of "Loch lomond"

why, do the people of germany also vote for the people of france?
September 20th, 2005 08:57 AM
Jumping Jack Perhaps during Octoberfest, LOL!

I was just wondering if the socialists and America bashers are now in retreat given the current economic climate? Chirac and Schroeder dreamed ruling a united Europe to compete with the States but their constitution was rejected by the voters. Will both guys also be voted out in favor of more conservative economic policies and more cooperative international relationships?

Lots was said about the American election, I'm curious what is being said about the other side.

jb Just let Hilary win in 08 and defeat the evil Jeb Bush.
September 20th, 2005 12:57 PM

Monkey Woman Gerhard Schroeder will be happy to learn from the mouth of a right-wing American knowt-it-all he's a Socialist... 'Cause he had problems to convince the Germans he's still a member of the Left!

As from Chirac.. Hello-o! He's a conservative, remember? And that's one thing that pisses of the French... That and the fact he's stupid. Really stupid. But once again, please, stop polluting this board all the time with your obsessions, JJ. Go flame here: http://www.elysee.fr/ecrire/

Apart from that:

September 20th, 2005 02:44 PM
Jumping Jack Both are big government advocates pushing increasingly expensive social programs resulting in high unemployment and stagnant economies. They both bash Americans as a way to cover their own deficiencies and deflect attention from their own problems. I am glad to see some Germans are starting to see through the smoke screen. That is the true pollution. I hope France follows suit.
