Greetings, fellow Stonesers! Ok, so the Allman Brothers have played Farm Aid. Skynyrd has. Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. The Man in Black. Willie. Foreigner. Guns 'N Roses. And on and on. But for several years, the show's been pretty sad, with a lot of second-rates and unknowns joining Willie, Neil Young, and Mellencamp. But WHAT IF the STONES would announce that they would be playing FARM AID next year?!? The tickets would surely sell out quickly, just from us diehards alone! And it could possibly move from TNN or whatever second-rate cable channel it scheduleded for to being a Pay-Per-View. The Stones could revive the tired FARMAID format of hasbeens and never=weres, and re-attract big names like they used to have. Yeah, this is just speculation, cause there's a 99% certainty they would never do it. But if they did, what do you think they would play? Just acoustic and country-flavored numbers, or go the whole gamut of blues/rock/ballads and whatever else they wanted to play? Howsabout this for a setlist? 1) Country Honk 2) Sweet Virginia 3) Spider and the Fly 4) Waiting On A Friend 5) Shattered 6) Crazy Mama 7) I Got The Blues 8) Fingerprint File 9) All Down the Line 10) Sister Morphine 11) Dead Flowers 12) Wild Horses (Encore) Let it Bleed ....Of course, that's about as many songs as their set would probably be, but it's not bad, eh? And maybe Willie could get ol' Waylon Jennings to come on with him to harmonize with the boys on "Dead Flowers," no? What a scene it would be..... Rock Onnnn... |

actually most appearances have an extremely sort set. they could probably only get 3 or 4 songs in a setlist. |

It would be great to hear Keith and Neil jamming again, but I don't think it will happen.
