That's good....need a decent walk up and or last minute rush...Mick and Keith on local rock station would help...even a promo.

perhaps they should do a meet and greet at a local car dealership?

their promo's are pure genius

I estimate that the yellow 40 Licks blimp helped to sell about an extra half dozen seats

Nellcote JB, remember, I predicted you would not come.
I think you still harbor fears of the "Big Dig"
rather than ticket sales.
Remember, your own home state cannot support
one concert this time around.
You, should not even feel melancoly about not attending
such an esteemed venue as Gillette Stadium, home of 3 out of 5 recent Super Bowl Champions.
You have not represented your state in a manner which
is up to our standards here in New England.
We will lead the country!
See the Championship Banners!!
Regale in outstanding tailgate (grilling fish for Chevy..)
Hear Tour Premieres in abundance (happened at Licks-Gillette gig...)
You know you want to be here, you passed....
We will provide live reports from the tailgate for those who are interested.
We have a new Stones flag making it's world premiere...
WICKED PISSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PartyDoll MEG Looking forward to your "live reports" Nellcote!!!!

pdog I walked by my local Radio Shack today, in the window was a Stones poster advertising the 17 city tour this fall. I had to stop, catch my breath, and walk away. The urge to go inside and rip it down was overwhelming.
19th September 2006 04:56 PM
Saint Sway I've seen a bunch of street bills plastered around town here advertising the Giants show.

the pic is of them waving to the crowd after the show. Perhaps a hint that this is the farewell tour?

Farewell, No!
Just street corner vendors, waving to get people to buy their snake oil.

Hey Saint Sway! I'm actually a little nervous about taking photos tomorrow night. The last time I got close was MSG3 and if looks could kill I'd be a dead man. Mick just doesn't like it and lets you know it. No one else seems to care too much. Maybe a few by the B stage if I can get there.

oh, really? so that's why Mick gave me a dirty look when I took a picture of him in Switzerland. Charlie and Keith were cool with it though. They just smiled at me.

Funny!

According to my sources "She's Just Right" is actually "She's All Right", a cover of obscure Boston rockers and Stones worshippers the Real Kids, which the band apparently learned as a one-off tip of the hat to the home town crowd. Keith is doing Buddy Holly's "OH BOY" and "Thunder on the Mountain" off of Dylan's Modern Times for his two songs, but other than that we were e-mailed the exact same setlist.

never mind Shes So Cold/She Was Hot/She's Just Right

I heard theyre going to treat us, by playing an old song theyve never played live before followed by a new song written specially for Foxboro and dedicated to Rocks Off

"Too Tight" followed by "Wide Open".
