mhamel I was crusing Limewire and found a song "Restless Child" It was listed as a Stones song and it does sound like a Stones song but I can find no reference to this song anywhere.

Can anybody shed a little light on this?

Gazza theyve never recorded a song of that title - either released or unreleased

Of course, someone could have mistitled it based on ignorance (or deliberately) or just made it up that its a Stones song when its by someone else (I've seen House of The Rising Sun and Brown Eyed Girl on some of those file sharing sites listed as being by the Stones!)

glencar I read an article in yesterday's paper about how some groups are now doing cover versions of old hits just so they get some easy publicity on those file sharing places.

mhamel Maybe I have the title wrong. This is how it was posted. It any of you experts have the time, check it out. The vocals sound a little off (but Mick sounds diferent on a lot of songs) but the music sure sounds like the Stones.

Mad Brained Bear The vocals don't sound like Mick at all. In fact it almost sounds a little Axl Roseish.

gotdablouse Closest title would be "Highway Child" in old outtake from 1968, with probably Mick's first public guitar work - http://www.keno.org/stones_lyrics/highway_child.htm
