Saint Sway 33 songs in 12 shows is dissapointing.

when this tour is over what do you think they will cap out at? 40 songs?

thats pretty lazy for a band with thier talent, catalog and touring experience.

Moonisup 2002, what was it in Boston? 3 show, 55 different songs?

Thing One Say, I look all better all big and stuff. Look at me, love me, hug me, shower me with kisses. Go Stones!

Gazza I make it 35 songs including the club show (Mr Pitiful plus another played that isnt included there...cant be arsed looking tos ee which one it is) anyway

Most disappointing thing is that since the opening night in Boston, theyve only added 7 songs to the setlist in 11 shows..most of them only played rarely

Bitch
Ruby Tuesday
All down the line
Paint it Black
Midnight Rambler
Rocks off
Waiting on a Friend

At least Midnight Rambler is IN! I know they've done it like every year since 1989, but it's just about the best live thing they do. Surprised there wasn't more elation on the board when this appeared (maybe there was and I missed it).

Also, at least they're mixing up the sequence quite a bit, including the encores and b-stage sequences. That's at least something.

Hopefully they'll be loosening it up even more.

ResidentMule look at the last tour they did for an album. wasn't that much better than this time. just looks bad compared to Licks & No Security because they pulled out a ton of rarities. hopefully they'll at least make some gradual changes. if I get 1 or 2 songs I'm not expecting for Philly I'll be happy. Under My Thumb & Dead Flowers - I can't even really think of anything I'd want more (feasibly)

but if Keith can play twice as good doing half the songs as the Licks tour, I can forgive it. they could do 200 songs & fuck em all up and that wouldn't be any better. and everything I've heard about these shows says tighter performances than last tour.

not thrilled about the setlists, but that's why I'm only going to 1 show.
September 20th, 2005 05:24 PM
ResidentMule as for Keith's 2 songs - pretty pathetic. throw in Little T&A or any of the 3 off B2B and it'd be much better. I kinda like Infamy but not sure about live. we'll see when I hear it. couldn't he at least do some covers or something?

but at least they're 2 I haven't seen him do. if he decided to 'switch it up' and do Slipping Away I might fall asleep. sorry I've heard that enough that I'm bored to tears by it.

just a lesson to all: be careful what you with for. Keith could start doing Losing My Touch.
