SpiralFrog, the new web-based music download service, launched to residents of the US and Canada yesterday (Monday). SpiralFrog is entirely supported by advertising, allowing free legal download of its music.

Via its agreement with Universal Music, SpiralFrog now offers users in the US and Canada the ability to legally download music for free by many of the world's most influential and important recording artists of the century, including Chess Records artists such as BO DIDDLEY, Chuck Berry, Willie Dixon, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter and Muddy Waters.

Tracks from the Universal Music's catalog of BO DIDDLEY CDs including "The Chess Box" (1990), "Bo Knows Bo" (1995), "His Best" (1997), "Guitar Legends" (with Chuck Berry) (1997), "20th Century Masters-The Millennium Collection: The Best of Bo Diddley" (2000), "Bo Diddley Is A Gunslinger" (2004) and "The Definitive Collection" (2007), are now available on-line (to users in the US and Canada only) for free download from SpiralFrog's BO DIDDLEY artist webpage, located at http://www.spiralfrog.com/download/artist/57518/

It is planned to make the SpiralFrog download service available to residents in other selected countries in the future.
