gimmekeef Hearin from Gazza...Wyman is here....was like a red hot knife jabbing me in the gut....Its over if he takes the stage....What will I do with the next 45 years of my life?
26th August 2007 01:35 PM
Nellcote This thread is going downhill fast.
Chin Up.
Remember, what Chariman Keith says,
No one gets out of this thing alive.
Big deal, Wyman plays a number, so what.
26th August 2007 01:36 PM
mrhipfl This is gonna be one special show!

I still have great doubt it's the last show.

Look on the bright side: Maybe you don't have 45 years left in you!

Wyman taking the stage doesn't confirm anything...

LadyJane Nelly you are a wise man.
Buck up people.

I can't do this if I'm about to leap off a ledge.

It's over when they say it's over.
Until then....I remain hopeful.

And so MUST ALL OF YOU.

LJ.

The Wick Doesn't look good if Perky is playing with them but at least the knob showed up. The only thing that gives me hope is that Belgian TV interview where Mick talked about other tours, other than that, it's looking grim. Maybe they've just made up though. They should play Si Si Je Suis just to piss everyone off.

Riffhard It is NOT the final show of anything other than the Bigger Bang Tour! C'mon now?! You know that they are gonna do the occassional one off show here and there, and they may well do a mini tour in support of the opening of SAL.

Left Shoe Shuffle Wyman sitting in on a couple numbers?
Nice way to end things - for this tour.

Now maybe they can coax him across the pond in the spring...

Here, here GTRM!! We shall summit like mother fuckers!! I'm already gearing up for it! If it's another {{{{{SOTC part deux}}}}}, or a Summit of Reflection, it matters not! We will party together again, and the Stones, and RO, will be the reason for it!

Someday babaaay, we got to meet!

FotiniD Hi there folks! Just got back from my holiday and I'm all ready for the big night It's been a lovely ride so far, and one of the things I loved most about it was our collective ranting here! Here's to many more

Thrilled for Gazza's pass for the Rattlesnake Inn!!! And I wouldn't worry too much about Wyman's presence (younger girls should, through )

Nellcote pretty much nails it:

Hey GTRM! I wouldn't miss this for the world

Just found your post about what Mick said the other night... "A lot of talk in the papers about us not touring anymore - but I can tell you we're carrying on - till Sunday at least!"

Well, that should do it
26th August 2007 02:30 PM
~Cocaine Eyes~ Hi everyone,I'm in Toronto and please, people......chins up! This is only the end of THIS tour. They'll be touring for the "Shine A Light" film.

Happy Gazza is in the shebeen area.
26th August 2007 02:31 PM
angee Gazza, good on you for bringing us news from the Rattlesnake.
You must be on a buzz that won't quit.

LJ, thanks so much for the setlist today/tonight. I had to leave after
the first two shows. I may swipe it for another board, if that's okay.

Bill Wyman possibly performing? What a rush for the crowd. I don't
think that means much. Upbeat we must stay, I agree.
Many hugs to all the great RO'ers there.

::waiting::

The word is Wyman is there to say hi, and to get authorization to use his metal detector on the floor, after the show. He was denied permission to sell the detectors at a stall before the show, as he would not cut the Stones in on any profits.
