Gazza Nothing can be removed from the archives, nor can they be edited.

The threads on the message board holds the 150 (I think) most recently active threads.

If you look at the date of the first post in any thread (in the case of the current Bit Torrent thread - Part 11 - its 12th September 2006), that will be the date that the BT thread that preceded it reached its maximum of 500 posts. After a few days of inactivity (usually about 3 or 4) the old thread falls into the archives.

In this case (Part 10) it was 15/9/06 - http://www.novogate.com/board/968/Archives/09%2D15%2D2006/

THAT thread (as can be seen from the first post) started on 9th August, so a search in the archives for 12th August will give you Part 9 - http://www.novogate.com/board/968/Archives/08%2D12%2D2006/224683-1.html

and so on
