Topic: Virgin Radio broadcast Return to archive
19th September 2006 06:05 PM
Humbug On 20-21 August 2006, Virgin Radio broadcast the V-Festival on FM stereo. On checking through my many hours of 44.1kHz recordings, I found an unrelated series of ten Mick Jagger interviews, from Zurich (I guess 5 Aug 2006?)

As well as the interviews, there are four live Stones tracks:

Start Me Up
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
Brown Sugar
Its Only Rock 'n' Roll

So my question is - are these tracks already in circulation? Might they be from an official live release?

Any advice most welcome, and if anyone needs them on CD for comparison (to, for example, the audience recording from this date), let me know.

Cheers,

Humbug

ps macdaddy sent me here, said you guys would know the answer

Gazza they would definitely be from one of the live albums (probably Live Licks). Virgin radio wouldnt have had any rights to broadcast unreleased material

Thanks for the advice! Wonder if the Mick Jagger interviews would be of interest?

Cheers
