glencar He looks like a hole in the middle of that flick. Rest of the cast looks great.

IanBillen Seems like they went away from the lines of the smooth, great looking, suave type this time.

He seems more of a bad guy in looks and the way they cast him.

However he does not seem so captivating or unique. Good concept to change it up. Not the a numero-uno choice for a character.

He is OK. Just nothing truly unique, and a Bond character needs that special something. I don't see it too much in this dude.

corgi37 The character has gone back to what he was in the books. Except for the frigging blonde hair. But, looks like he's played too 1 dimensional now. I love Bond films. Well, i did. Connery is the man, no doubt. I didnt even see the last one.

Just aint the same without old "Q".

Riffhard Looks great to me. I am happy to see that they are going back to the vengeful meanspirted Bond. That is much more in keeping with the original character as written by Flemming. Moore was the absolute worst Bond in that he was portrayed as this campy wisecracking jokster that just happened to be a 00 agent. Now Connery,on the other hand, nailed the roll.

Remember the scene in Dr. No where Professor Dent trys to personally kill Bond? He walks into Bond's bungalow and pumps a bunch of rounds into the bed where he mistakenly thinks Bonds is asleep. Then Bond alerts him of his prescence. Dent turns and attempts to fire again. However,he was out of bullets and Bond kills him on the spot. Great scene, and totally in keeping with the book. That was all lost with the 1970's campy Roger Moore version of Bond.

This guy Daniel Craig looks like he has that old Connery swagger back. I will checking the movie out as soon as it hits theaters in November.

Honky Tonk Man I don't know too much about Daniel Craig, other than that he's been gettig flack over here because of the Bond thing. I've only ever seen him in one film. Its called Layercake and he was particulary brilliant in it.

I've seen a trailer for the new Bond flick and it looked impresive. I just can't help but feel that because of the fact that Casino Royal was the original Ian Flemming book, many are pressuming that it's going to be Bond back to his original best. I guess we'll all have to wait and see

Saint Sway Charlie Watts should be the new Bond.
