Dear Doctor when to show with LOne crap Shooter

this was filmed for future tv show and did not feel like a real concert, many breaks of @15 minutes and up between acts.

Rod Stewart came on @10 and did "what a wonderful world" ballard with full orchestra, his voice I believe does not work with this song, but then again I think all this songbook stuff by him sucks

then @10 minutes later a bunch of guitarist' starting milling around stage and then came woody and rod out together with the lights dimmed. they both just stood talking for a few minutes as the stage hands continued working around them, there were some light applause and hollars for woody. Nothing crazy. this was a fashion industry crowd , mixed of all ages. Mostly white crowd, but quite a few blacks also.
Destiny's Child came out and introduced Rod Stewart and then made mention of Rolling Stone guitarist Ron Wood. As the opening notes of Maggie May started Rod waved his arms to the statue like crowd to get off their feet and they quickly did. The entire building was standing for what I witnessed the only time the whole night. Rod was in good spirits actually performing, working the stage. Woody played electric on this song and I have to admit was pretty much going through the motions. A young woman in Rod's band did all the mandolin playing. No great solo from Woody here. Towards the end of the song he walked towards the back of the stage to get another guitar and the bottleneck gadget to play slide. He used his Stones tonque guitar strap here.
The next and last song they did was "Stay with Me", I thought Woody would rise to the occasion here. Rod was really moving around here and the crowd was into it, the band sounded decent and did a pretty rocking version, nothing spectacular. Woody played so-so here , no great extended hard solo here neither. The ending of the song he got a little aggressive , but nothing spectacular here neither. Woody and Rod were singing together here ala Mick and Woody on Starfucker.
It was fun to watch all in all
Not the best setting for a concert, but overall Woody and Rod put on a decent showing
