Topic: SF theater show? Return to archive

ehellweg I just read in the SF Examiner that the rumor among roadies is that the band will play a date at the Warfield. A friend who works at ClearChannel/BGP (which manages that venue) says he hasn't heard anything about it.
Anyone know anything about the gig? The Stones did a surprise show at the Fillmore in 97 or 99, which was a closed birthday party for one of the crew, apparently.

Gimme Shelter In yesterday's Sacramento Bee they had an article stating a rumor that the Stones might play either Arco Arena or the Memorial Auditorioum (both here in Sacramento) on Nov. 11th.
They already have the 8th and 9th at Pac Bell park and the 12th at Oakland Coliseum arena.

keefnmick The party at the Fillmore in 97 was just a tour party and the the only song the Stones sang was happy birthday to their tour manager. I hope they actually do a show at either the Warfield or the Fillmore in Nov.
