I am curious if any of you who have been to any of the shows (stadium, area, theater) so far have went ticketless, avoided the scalpers, and simply purchased single seat tickets from the box office as the show was starting. I got into Charlotte stadium for B2B that way and ended up about 30 feet back from the stage dead center. Any insights?

A couple of questions:
On the day of show, are the tickets released only at the box office at the venue, or on ticketmaster as well?
And . . . is there a specific time of day that they do this? Morning? Afternoon? Right before showtime? Random?
Thanks -

There were plenty of scalpers selling tix below face value right before the show started. We were waiting for a friend to show up so we went in late. The same scalpers who were trying to dump tix for 350+ were selling them for 1/2 face value. There were also 100 level seats at the ticket window just before showtime. I went up to see what they were and they were right at the corner of the stage just off the floor. Pretty good seats for last minute. These aren't usually released until the stage is completely set up and they can see which seats on the ends have obstructed views. There were also people scalping comisky tickets up until show time. Not much luck to scalp aragon tix unless you're willing to put up $$$$$$. Hope this helps |
