Jagger, his ‘Women’ to meet in Hub

Who needs Some Girls when you can have “The Women?”
Mick Jagger is headed to the Hub this week to check onto the set of the made-in-Boston chick flick “The Women” because the Rolling Stones frontman’s Got The Silver - and the gold - that’s financing the film.
Mick, the man and money behind Jagged Films, will pop in on the downtown set possibly as early as today to check on his A-List “Women” - Annette Bening, Meg Ryan, Debra Messing, Eva Mendes, Jada Pinkett Smith and Candice Bergen - and, we suppose, shower them with (Brown) Sugar!
We hear Bergen, BTW, has joined the gals in Boston this week to shoot her scenes as Meg Ryan’s mother.
Anyway, Mick’s main movie gal, Victoria Pearman, has been here since the Diane English-directed production started on Aug. 19. But since this is Jagged’s second-biggest foray into the film biz (his first was “Enigma” with Kate Winslet in 2001), Jagger himself needed a little look-see at the ladies and their hard work. You know, Satisfaction and all that.
Usually Jagged gets behind flicks that are Stones-centric such as “Ruby Tuesday,” which tells the story of a single mom trying to find happiness in New York. Which is, of course, set to the British band’s music. And Mick’s company even had a hand in Donal Logue’s ill-fated FOX series, “Kings of Prosperity,” because the storyline was about robbing the world famous rock ’n’ roller.
Word is, Mick’s not staying long because, after all a Rolling Stone gathers no moss!
