Just the tickets

Celebrity Random Acts Of Kindness, Part Deux: Mick Jagger and his band of Rolling Stones are not rockers with Hearts of Stone - far from it.

East Taunton's Kelly Lima and her boyfriend, Richard Brown, camped out near the Orpheum's stage door last Sunday for five hours with the hope that the band would take pity on them. And they did - big time!

Here's the scoop: The couple secured $100 ``limited view'' tickets for the Stones' Gillette Stadium gig, but Brown was forced to work overtime and couldn't make the show.

Undaunted, the Stones-crazed couple hit the Orpheum with a sign that read: ``Hey, Stones! We Bought Tickets to Foxboro and We Couldn't Use Them. Can You Get Us In?'' As an added touch, Brown taped the unused tickets to the poster.

``People thought we were crazy,'' Lima told the Track. ``They told us we'd never get in, but we were optimistic.''

And sure enough, when the band's van pulled up to the door, Lima said, she saw front-seat passenger Keith Richards check them out. Shortly after the band entered the steamy theater, a roadie came out bearing glad tidings as well as tickets in the eighth row for the sold-out show that was the hottest ticket in town.

``People who were out there with us were clapping and cheering when she came out,'' she said. ``I'm still in shock.''
