Does anyone know what time the Stones will hit the stage at the Aragon tonight ? I believe Dr. John is supporting but I'm not too bothered about seeing him. I figure if we time it right we can miss a lot of the lines.
Thanks ! |

Which means the Stones will probably be on around 9:45.
They made us wait *forever* in the FleetCenter...
50 whole minutes, wanting to throw up after The Pretenders...

Oh, god, Linda was better than she was! I was begging for the post-mortem Wings reunion after this!

indeed wings wasn't that band, I never heard songs from the pretenders! Could they be as bad as Dave mattews in 1998 in Holland?? That is almost impossible!!

Moon, I don't think anyone could be as bad as Dave Matthews.
He needs to, I don't know, get drunk. It'd probably only help his godawful music.
Anyone caught comparing him with Clapton is to be caught and shot.

Dr. John is very cool. At the Orpheum, Buddy came on at 8 sharp and played until 8:45. Stones were on by 9:30.
It would be interesting to see if Dr.John gets a guest slot for a tune - let's see, what Stones song has a 'Nawlin's/cajun feel to it? Turd on the Run? Casino Boogie? How about that rumored Dear Doctor? |

Keith played with DR. john for the rainforest in 2001 |

Actually, I can really imagine Mac Rebbenack doing a verse of Dear Doctor...might be cool. I realize the purists out there wouldn't want their Stones tune "doctored" though... |

Not to start anything, but why do people think there's something wrong with being a caring person. It's just hard to understand why it's ok not to give a shit, but it's wacko to care. |

reprinted (sans permission) from Shidoobee:
Here's what they played during this afternoon's soundcheck:
Worried About You
Hand of Fate
Torn and Frayed
Rocks Off
Shine A Light
Bitch
...these last three strike me as better arena fodder than theater material....

Ya know, Jimmy Fallon did a dead-on impression of Dave Matthews at the MTV awards (heel clicking and annoying voice was dead-on).
On No Security, his addition on Memory Motel was just a shame. His "back up ta Boston, I'm singing in a bar" verse was terrible; absolute piss, I tell ya. |
