rolling who If Dylan can debut at No. 1 with his new album (even though it only sold 180,000 units), can The Who nab their first-ever No. 1 album with 'Wire & Glass' when it's released on Halloween?

I hope so.

pdog Highly unlikely, but it would be nice, if only to teach The Stones a lesson!

Dylan sold 192k the first week and more than 320k after 2 weeks.
Many high profile releases in Oct 24 and 31, I can't see them on top of the charts, top 10 at best.

Honky Tonk Man As far as I'm aware, the only Who LP to reach number 1 was Who’s Next here in the UK in 1971. I don't have high hopes for their new one. I agree with soldatti. It'll reach the top ten at best.

As far as chart positions go, The Who really are the nearly men. They always seemed to get to number 2 or 3, always JUST missing the top spot.
