Riffhard ONNYA. Uh oh,looks like we may be in the "setlist by rote" portion of the gig. Hope not. I love ONNYA,but this setlist is starting to look exactly like spots 10-14 of Chicago.

Riffhard HTW!! Gawddamn it! Hate to spoil the surprise, but here goes-16. Out of Control
17. Sympathy For The Devil
18. Jumpin' Jack Flash
19. Brown Sugar
20. You Can't Always Get What You Want (encore)
21. It's Only Rock 'n Roll (encore)

I'd say that's a safe bet. With the possible exception of OOC.

Angiegirl The setlist of the 2 shows I saw at MSG in '98 were much better! We even had tour song premieres (Might As Well Get Juiced; Thief In The Night, with re-start; Low Down, Already Over Me...)

Riffhard

Sympathy, so that's gonna be only 20 songs again...
September 13th, 2005 11:22 PM
Riffhard Yeah,I hear ya Angie. They switched HTW for OOC,and then they decided to mail the rest of the show in. It's damned shame because the setlist was looking brilliant up to the intros.

FPM C10 Oh, how jaded we all are. I'm sure they're playing ferociously. And playing some of the greatest rock songs ever written. Ho hum.

Seriously - you've seen them do "Sympathy" in the Garden, with the whole place screaming "whoo whoo!!!" It's supernatural!
September 13th, 2005 11:27 PM
Riffhard Hey,...wait a minute here....Paint It Black! Now that's nice. Prolly the last change though.

Angiegirl Yeah, you're right of course FPM. True. Still, Keith should drop The Worst already.
September 13th, 2005 11:31 PM
Steel Wheels Shit! The Stones are rockin' the Big Apple tonight! Great setlist. I'm sure the roof is blown off that mother. Stones own that place.
September 13th, 2005 11:32 PM
FPM C10 I bet Paint It Black was unbelievable. They always nail that one. Charlie is a GOD.
September 13th, 2005 11:32 PM
nankerphelge He did such a nice job with You Got The Silver in '99 -- and with Ronnie sober -- Jesus H. why don't they give it a bash!

If there's another song, it will be either BS or YCAGWYW I think, not both.

No sweat Angie. Sway's at the show, and most likely talking his shit.

IORR,JJF now. So that means that the encores are getting mixed up. My bet for encores-BS,and YCAGWYW.

Yeah. He's a guy. A rather annoying guy at that! It will be interesting to read his review. My bet is that there will be at least three mentions of the guitar prowess of Mark Ford, and Rich Robinson. The Stones/Crowes comparrisons will, most likely, make up the majority of his reveiw,or at least warrant some mention as a parting shot!
