Rocks Off ... seems pretty obvious to me... getting wasted.
'plug in flush out and fight that fuckin feed' - actually a sorry tale of heroin addiction.
About addiction, I feel that when you think you have nothing to fight for everyday (although we all should have), you might like the daily fight to get high....an empty religion for sure, but didn't Keith play wonderfully in those years ?!
Casino Boogie... some kind of mixture of feelings and thoughts from that era. |

I have always believed the Stones would have been even bigger commercially if Jaggers words were easier for the average person to understand and sing along. Many great vocals are lost in the mix. |

They can be interpreted in so many ways...but I have found that they are all about me. Except "Indian Girl"--that's about joey. |

The line goes: "plug in flush out, and fight and fuck and feed"

Actually,
"Plug in, flush out and fire the fuckin' feed"
Ronnie B. Wood, I think you can find some info on certain songs on http://www.timeisonourside.com/
But then again, as with all forms of art, a meaning of a song is what you make of it. Ask a hundred persons and you'll get a hundred different opinions. The only one who really can tell you about it would be the songwriter himself, and then again you couldn't be too sure

Very very interesting view on things Gypsy!
Wishing I had thought of it first, haha |

Even the songwriter's interpretation might change over time. And thanks for the correction to the lyrics. So much misinformation! |

Why, thank you, FotiniD. I thought everyone knew "Indian Girl" was about our joey. |
