p.s. hey josh...just some food fer thought....anita's husband (stones505) has been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. julia, gaby's granddaughter, is in brazil awaiting a bone marrow transplant (she's 6 months old), and a LOT of russian families are mourning the loss of their kids and families and still don't know what will happen to the people still being held hostage.....
so, i think if you have a REAL problem, we'd all be really supportive...but the fact that you post about "designer closets" and the possibility that the doctors are wrong and you are actually dying of a brain tumor...it's just a teeny tiny bit much. i hope you have gotten the hell out of the way of this hurricane like any sane, reasonable human being would do. believe it or not, mother nature does not care if you are jewish, or russian, or little or big. it's a nasty storm. i hope ALL our floridian stones fans, and even the non-stones fans, get out ok. yes, i even care about the non-stones fans...hell..i even care about the beatles fans!!!!

Others purchased some of the last battery-operated air-pumps to transport pet fish. And nearly everyone started to empty the fridge of the Corner Store's beers from around the world.
Mike Papadatos spent a fatiguing day at the store ringing up all the sales and watching the supplies dwindle as he was asked over and over again whether he had any propane.

Fuck! Watching FoX right now, safe and well in Melbourne, OZ. They are talking to reporters in Melbourne, FLA. All things considered, i think i'll delay a Florida holiday. Man, i hope any of my Yank mates there are, well, not there. I hope, as much as possible, that every on is ok. I pray your possessions and property are ok, but if they aint, your can always rebuild. So long as you and loved ones are fine.
If i ever get to take over from the Sultan of Brunei, or Bill Gates, i swear, i will fly ALL RO's to Oz to live in a little commune. I live in Titusville which is right next to Kennedy Space Center about 30 miles north of Melbourne...we evacuated to Tallahassee to get away from Frances then came home yesterday as Frances was headed for Tally! We arrived home to no major damage...trees down and no power...we are staying with my Mom who's power came back on this morning...we dodged another bullet! Now we will start watching Ivan which is supposed to be off the coast of Florida on Saturday! All kidding aside I hope Josh and his family made it through OK...this hurricane was a huge monster! |

Great news! There are lots of people without power in the metro Atlanta area, trees down all over. We had a drought for like 5 years so all that wind did some damage. Nothing like Florida though, great to hear some good news! Ivan will go somewhere else, don't worry about that! |
