polytoxic Actually the Stones did sound damn good that day - of course with some sloppiness -but I like the sloppy parts...adds character.

I think a lot of people like AC/DC more only because AC/DC songs are way simpler in arrangement and could translate better at 250 yards. There's a lot of sublety in Stones arrangements that you just miss if you are too far away. Also you miss the mini-dramas that occur onstage that add so much fun to the experience.

tumbling_dice The speakers sound was not coming across well during the first part of the Stones set.... but the Stones themselves sounded as great as ever.
