09-03-03 02:34 PM
steel driving hammer Mudder Fuck!

If he plays that, and Mick joins in (like on the 70's boot version) I'll stop watching Bravo's Queer Eye For The Straight Guy and more of American Chopper.
09-03-03 03:25 PM
Nellcote Probably this has made it here before, however

luxury1 Man, the boys seem to have found a new groove. And Mick is resting. All is well.

I could watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy all night. That shit is so funny. The straight guys are such a mess.

jb It no different except "HSIYL" which is overrated and takes the place of a Stones song.
09-03-03 05:00 PM
dealer squealing If they omit If You Can´t Rock Me, the they are nuts!
One of the wery few "trademarks" this tour has in the arena set!

steel driving hammer JB, if Brian Jones was the Sun way up there, I'd go w/ my love everywhere!

Mick Taylor would be the moon when the sun go down, just let you know the Stones are still around!
09-03-03 05:01 PM
jb Honestly, CYHMK was played sooo sloww that while it was a gem to hear, it really was musically disappointing.

Indeed

steel driving hammer For those who didn't know what Keith was singing about tonight (like me) I had to find out what Loch Lomond is all about and this is what I got.

Loch Lomond is the largest fresh water Loch in the UK. The Loch is 24 miles long and five miles wide and at its deepest point is some 600 feet deep. (So deep and so wide!)

Loch Lomond is the worlds most famous Loch and has been much written about, both in song and verse. The area is renowned for its beauty and tranquility and offers picture postcard views around every corner.

The Loch is crossed by the Highland Boundary Fault and exhibits the physical characteristics of both highland and Lowland Scotland. Some 200 species of birds and over 25% of Britain's wild plants have been recorded in the area.

This is what Keith might have sung...

By yon bonnie banks
And by yon bonnie braes,
Where the sun shines bright
On Loch Lomond
Oh we twa ha'e pass'd
sae mony blithesome days,
On the bonnie, bonnie banks
O' Loch Lomond.

Oh ye'll tak' the high road
and I'll tak' the low road,
An' I'll be in Scotland before ye',
But wae is my heart until we meet again
On the Bonnie, bonnie banks
O' Loch Lomond.

I mind where we parted
In yon shady glen
On the steep, steep side
O' Ben Lomon'
Where in purple hue
The highland hills we view
And the morn shines out
Frae the gloamin'

Oh ye'll tak' the high road
and I'll tak' the low road,
An' I'll be in gloaming before ye',
But wae is my heart until we meet again
On the Bonnie, bonnie banks
O' Loch Lomond.

The wee bird may sing
An' the wild flowers spring;
An' in sunshine the waters are sleepin'
But the broken heart
It sees nae second spring,
And the world does na ken
How we're greetin'

Oh ye'll tak' the high road
and I'll tak' the low road,
An' I'll be in greeting before ye',
But wae is my heart until we meet again
On the Bonnie, bonnie banks
O' Loch Lomond.

One of the famous castles on the Lake Lomond.

Cheers!

steel driving hammer Lets Roll on Together you Bastard!

Stones are the best fucking musical thing on this planet.

It's hard to say what the distant 2nd is.

It really is my brother.................................

luxury1 Hey Gazza--WAKE UP. We need a review.
Yes--LadyJane, it makes me nuts when I know they are on stage somewhere. This sounds like a killer show. THe band truly seems to be enjoying themselves and loosening up, without "losing" it.
Thanks for the info on Loch Lomond or whatever it is, SDH. I had no clue either till you enlightened us.

P.S. I secretly adore those corny lyrics to That's HOw Strong My LOve Is.
