12th September 2006 01:44 PM
Honky Tonk Man I don't think we'll see too many changes on this upcoming tour. We only got 3 on the recent Euro leg! Streets Of Love, Under My Thumb (though only once) and the ultimate rarity, Before They Make Me Run!

Michael Cohl Uhh.. I think you guys have this all wrong. Yes, they are rehearsing, but not rehearsing music. The boys are having dress rehearsals. Mick is practicing with four new assless jackets that he had custom designed by some housewife with a Bedazzler fetish. Just wait until you see how they sparkle!

No, no, no Sir. You are terribly mistaken. They released an Official announcement about the Fall Tour in which Mick said - AND I QUOTE:

"There is plenty of time for rehearsals and to be able to make some set changes - we'll have a variety of material ready so we can keep it fresh."

Mick would never charge fans $500 a ticket and then lie, would he??

Out of the 18 or so dates, over 1/2 are in trouble, with the other 1/2 selling O.K. The real test will be venues like Witchita, Boston, Giants, Chicago, both Texas, Seattle, Dodgers, Oakland, which are really selling poorly.

I would expect nothing sooner.

did you ever get around to checking out Uncle Tupelo? They were great and they disbanded about 13 years ago. So the time is now just about ripe for you to discover them.
