A friend in Prague sent this 2 disk set to me and it arrived today...2 disks of Keith, acoustic, singing his known faves, like 'Please, Please Me', some Elvis, some Buddy, some Chuck, 'No Expectations', 'Wild Horses', 'Beast of Burden'...many others. Does anyone know details on this one, like when and where? |

i have that - but it isn't complete...mine only has keith doing the elvis stuff and old standards.
i thought it was literally a honeymoon tape - recorded by somebody when keith was in mexico in 83...pre-wedding. |

yep...recorded in his hotel room a few days before his wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (ie, mid December 1983)
My copy is from a tape so I'm unsure if the CD version is identical, but he lets rip a couple of incredibly loud farts at one point!

You really want it torrented, Mac? I can make that happen, I suppose. I've got the original Hot Lips cd's. That was a weird Japanese label that didn't last very long. The recording is pretty good, but it's just Keith being pretty relaxed. He gets all pissy with some guy, too if I remember right. I'll get to it soon. |

LOL really? I have "the whole" recording, don't listen too often, last time probably two years ago and never realized about those farts. In which song we can hear the farts??

well..its actually 'between' songs but its certainly on my tape...
