Topic: Question about size of torrent files Return to archive
September 12th, 2005 05:02 PM
Mel Belli Why are the Stones concerts upwards of 600 megs? I downloaded an album of perfect-quality MP3s and it was only about 70 megs. Granted, a concert is more than twice as long as most albums, but that math still doesn't compute. What's the deal?

WeepingDandelion The concerts are not mp3 files, they are FLAC files. FLAC is a lossless audio format, CD quality, that's why they are so heavy.
