At the Manchester show some music was played over the PA while the boys made their way to the B-stage. I don't know if they use the same music at all the shows, I can't recall it from the other shows I've been to, but I like to know what it is. Had a sort of New Orleans funk vibe.
Apologies if it's something very obvious, but I can't figure it myself!

By Saint-Germain, actually. A French techno artist, if I remember correctly. Additional info from the book According To The Stones: that track 'Rose Rouge' (red rose) has a sample of Nina Simone singing 'Let's Get Together', with Joe Morello (Dave Brubeck's drummer) on drums. |

Thanks to both of you for the replies, I maybe should have recognised Nina Simone's voice. It had a nice funky feeling to it, kind of relaxed, almost in the same vein as 'Just Wanna See His Face'. I'll have a look for a copy. |
