steel driving hammer Don't you just love the fade part?

That loose open sax/guitar trade off in same key is just fucking too good.

It justs makes me wanna put a leg up, kick back, smile and draw another breath.
09-04-03 12:15 AM
Boomy Yes, I really think Mick could do the falsetto. He's doing Worried About You, but I'm thinking Keith doesn't like Emotional Rescue.

Maybe on the next album they can make songs that they will all like...
09-04-03 12:22 AM
steel driving hammer I think when there's a Sax, Keith will listen but on Emotional Rescue's fade, I think it's Ronnie's slide that matches the Sax's key.

Roll on Purdue!

Even though they have no chance, no chance...
09-04-03 12:27 AM
Boomy I know a guy that plays tight end for Purdue, but he's injured and out for the year. I think they will probably finish 3rd, maybe 2nd in the Big Ten. But they have tough away games this time..

steel driving hammer Brother when ya gonna let me send you some Stones boots.

I know you said you don't want any but I'm your Mid-Western man if you ever do.

Gratis my brother.

Most boots are better than the finished studio albums!

Let alone the live shows!

IMO, the Stones are best live.
09-04-03 12:49 AM
Boomy Actually, i think I'm about to enter "boot mode". I need to get some stuff.
09-04-03 12:59 AM
steel driving hammer Sheeeeet, it'l knock the shit right off yer shoes!

I'd be MORE than happy to send you some!

Just mail me whenever brother, I'll mail you some great live SBD Stones.

The way they're meant to be heard...........................
09-04-03 01:15 AM
steel driving hammer I swear sometimes while listening to some great Stones boots you can taste, feel the magic floating in the air and somtimes you can almost reach out and touch the fucker.

The deeper you go, the better it gets w/ the Stones.

Don't wanna sound strange but sometimes it's like a fucking vortex.

Especially w/ the song Something Else.

Charlie and that Open G Chord grabbing you by the Short and Curlies is just simply fucking wonderful.
09-04-03 02:16 AM
steel driving hammer Doesn't matter if you come in stagger, doesn't matter if you come in Jagger.
09-05-03 04:24 PM

throbby I don't know. Wouldn't it be nice to trek across the desert on a fine Arab Charger?
09-08-03 12:22 AM
Boomy You know...in my mind, the solo on "worried about you" has to be one of the coolest things in the world.

For some odd reason, I just find myself doing this little air guitar type dealy when that thing comes on.

kath i really hate "emotional rescue". it's one of my least favorite stones songs. i think mick'd look really silly singing it on stage. but that's just mho.

i'm not crazy about the album either. one i NEVER listen to.

there, i said it and i'm glad.....
09-08-03 12:42 AM
Boomy Kath, but why???

Boomy it's odd when you DON'T find yourself doing that little air guitar type dealy when that bastard comes on.

You know it's Wayne Perkins doing that, and on Hand Of Fate.

Quite similar aren't they.

throbby Emotional Rescue ranks very high with homosexuals

SS! A very interesting correlation. Is this based on a theory you have, or from personal research within the gay community?
09-08-03 06:43 PM
steel driving hammer Yeah! How would HE know it ranks very high in homosexuals?

He's just blabbering which inturn, is Stereotyping.
09-08-03 07:45 PM
Boomy Well, I'm as straight as a pencil, and I enjoy the album "Emotional Rescue".

09-08-03 08:19 PM
full moon Great fucking album.. Very diverse and smooth.. Dance, All About You, Down In A Hole.... Really a different album for The Stones.
09-08-03 08:23 PM
Boomy Of course. It seems like an album that they just had fun with. Unlike the last couple of albums, where is seems as though they were trying too hard.
09-09-03 12:01 PM
steel driving hammer How can Emotional Rescue be a homosexual album when all the songs are about women?

AAY - about women.
SSC - women.
ER - women.
DITH - women.
WTBAG - women.
LMG - women.
IG - women.
SITM - women.
SR - women.
Dance is just about Mick, Keith and New York.

Now, who da Stud?
09-09-03 12:11 PM
jb Summer Romance seems to have popularity among the gay community...also" down in the hole...
09-09-03 12:13 PM
Joey Most of the songs on " Emotional Rescue " are indeed about Sex in the " Poop Shoot " .

Word to your Mother .
