gorda When I was in school, the bands that were "IN" were Bon Jovi, Poison, Ratt, White Lion, Guns and Roses, Def Leppard, Heart, Talking Heads, Aerosmith, etc.

Oh, and Duran, Duran and WHAM! Ha! Ha! Ha!

I've always enjoyed listening to classic rock, time has proven that classic rock from the late 60's and early 70's is the best!

And, about the Beatles vs. Stones debate . . .

"How can you compare a rose with a carnation?" They're both beautiful, just different.

I like both bands, but I tend to be biased towards the Stones because I have actually had a chance to see them in person. Something that will never be possible with the Beatles. I will never be able to see them live.

Elvis?

When I started school, about 1958, I didn't give a fuck about Rock n Roll. But of course that didn't last long. That would have to wait until the "British Invasion." And what an invasion it was.
