2nd September 2007 07:04 PM
micktaylorneverleft Hi all:

Here is the solved mystery regarding the 5 CD's I was asking about. As mentioned I found 3 of the 5 on my own listed on dbetree.org and a guy from a Stones Yahoo group sent me the info on the other two and wouldn't even give a name to thank him. Here goes and I hope this makes it easier forthe next fan:

Be well always,

Wide As The Clyde Top bootlegs! My own collection of boots has pretty much all of the material there, except the 'Gimme Shelter' with Keith singing, which I've long sought. I have a boot CD with Mick's vocal version of 'You Got The Silver', which you'd think would include it, but doesn't.
The jewel of my boot collection is a version of Muddy Waters' "Two Trains Running", which (I think) was a demo for 'Let It Bleed', and is absolutely immense.

Here's Keith singing Gimme Shelter:

And oh yeah, Two Trains a/k/a Still A Fool is OMG mindblowing. I swear it's one of the most powerful tracks they ever recorded. When the Stones play the blues the stars shake in the sky.
