Topic: Mick & Keith in Brazilian TV Return to archive
September 12th, 2005 10:31 AM
Jair A Brazilian TV station showed last nite an exclusive interview with Mick & Keith in Toronto.

Mick said he spend a lot of time with Lucas. Now we are together for a week and we play football, swam at the pool (?)...
Luciana Gimenez was also there.

He also said he's not old to keep the band, and adduced a painter, Lucian Freud, as an example of longevity and artistic life.

Asked if monogamy is for him, he said "NO", in laughs.

Keith said no much. He reminded he have been in Brasil in 1969 and bought a "violao" (is an instrument that sounds like an acoustic guitar) from a blind beggar in Rio. He also said they (the Stones) dont know anymore who are the Stones.

They didnt talk about the new album or the concerts in Brasil, as long as I remember...The TV station, tough, announced Stones will play in Copacabana Beach on February 18 2006. Is the same TV (TV Globo) that always broadcast their concerts down here.
