Stars to Come Out for George Jones

NEW YORK (Billboard) - George Jones will be the subject of an all-star tribute to air Nov. 25 on PBS.
Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Harry Connick Jr., Aaron Neville, Martina McBride and Wynonna are among the artists scheduled to perform at two separate concerts, to be taped Sept. 8 and Sept. 15 at the Roy Acuff Theater in Nashville. The TV special will consist of footage from both concerts.
Other performers will include Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Merle Haggard, Lorrie Morgan, Sammy Kershaw, Uncle Kracker, Emmylou Harris, Shelby Lynne, Kris Kristofferson, Tanya Tucker, Connie Smith, Joe Diffie and Trick Pony.
In other TV news, CMT will air the two-hour special "The Outlaws Concert" on Oct. 29. Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr. and Metallica's James Hetfield are among those set to perform at the event, which will be taped Sept. 7 at the former Tennessee State Prison in Nashville. The aforementioned Tucker, Montgomery Gentry and Jessi Colter are also on the bill.

Good question. But the Possum quit drinking I think. Maybe Keith is running out of drinking buddies. (LOL.. just kidding, I'm sure Keith can still find plenty of people to drink with.) |

Good point, but I think the Possum slips off the wagon once and a while and off the bridge in his SUV...I know badjoke
This seems like Keith's kinda shindig these days, not like he's got anything else going on it seems |
