glencar Notice in Beautiful Mistake he talks about "drinking on teh couch" instead of eating on it like most couch potatoes. The guy doesn't like to eat. He loves being a social x-ray.

texile what is all this shock about jagger's lyrics being personal?
jagger's lyrics have ALWAYS been about one thing - his life and women.... he rarely writes about anything else - some girls is still the most open, direct and vulnerable shit he's ever written.....

Monkey Woman "As a writer, you don't want them (the public) to think about you, they're supposed to be thinking about themselves."

When you think about it, from a writer's point of view, this is a very interesting observation. He writes about his experiences when it's something that other people can resonate with.

otherwise...as a writer, its all just - to use a term coined by sirmoonie - a wankerama..........
which is why the best stuff WILL resonate - if its good.
