corgi37 yeah, i agree. No vid is bad planning. But, also, so i read, the Stones were waiting for the tour to start to include some live footage.

Like, hello, lames-ville!!

OOHHH! Fireworks!!!

glencar Possible good news: the Kanye West album is listed as being released last week & is #1 having sold 860,000 copies. I'm not sure that he still won't be #1 next week but the Stones will be the highest debut.

I know most of you are racialists, being anti-Aussie and all that (we'll win the Ashes tonight!), but come on, answer me.

Who the fuck is the West guy?

Jumping Jack “Not everyone is as gifted as us to "get it"...”

Obviously there are many who “don’t get it”. The point of selling CDs is to make money otherwise artists would just permit free downloads. Many of you are stuck in old paradigms and are overly worried about indicators of that old mindset like CD sales.

The goal is to make money and CD sales at best wouldn’t bring in more than a few million bucks. Making real money in the music business is about merchandizing, selling $40 t-shirts, $25 programs, and $450 tickets. The CD is just a tool to facilitate that. Anyone who thinks the Stones are second to anyone in this regard is a fool. Popularity in the music business is measured net income just like any other business.

Kayne West and the other rap fools would kill each other in a heart beat for a chance at a percentage of the Stones take this time around. That’s would buy a lot of bling!!!

The hot shot debut will be the Stones at #2.
