VoodooChileInWOnderl Just curious how much is the CD in your country?

Here's $212.50 Pesos (it was 20% off in the pre-sale) so it is $20.23 USD considering the currency exchange at Yahoo Finance http://finance.yahoo.com/currency
September 5th, 2005 09:04 AM

Voodoo Scrounge I can buy it in my local Woolworths (Similar to target) for £9.97 which is around $18.50 USD
September 5th, 2005 09:14 AM
Zeeta £10 so that's probrably about $1000000000000000000 as it's so weak against the £!!!

The artwork's good but coulda had more photos of the boys. It just consists of all the lyrics.

Quite laughable that they printed the lyrics to She Saw Me Coming i.e. She Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me ComingShe Saw Me Coming

Anyway roll on!

Jair Hey Gerardo, is 27,00 "reais" down here in Brasil (pre sale), meaning around 11,00 USD. (The dollar here is weak in last months...)

The regular price of a new release here is 40,00 reais.
I dunno why Stones is so cheap...

glencar $9.99 at Best Buy & $10.99 at amazon.com. I have to wait until tomorrow.
September 5th, 2005 02:24 PM
stonesmik I saw it at "City Disc" record shop for 22,90 Swiss Franks (this is 25% off in the pre-sale, later price will be 29,90 Swiss Franks), so it is USD 18,55 considering the currency exchange at Yahoo Finance http://finance.yahoo.com/currency

I didn't buy it there though but at Amazon.de where they sell it to Switzerland for EUR 11,20 (USD 14,00) - and this includes postage!
September 5th, 2005 02:26 PM
Angiegirl 9,95 euro is the cheapest available here at the Media Markt (about $12) I believe.

September 5th, 2005 04:56 PM
pdog I pre-ordered for $11.00 on Amazon.com
I think it's around $15.00 give or take a few bucks in most shops in SF, unfortunately no one would sell me it this weekend.
Must wait until tommorow.

corgi37 $22.00 Aussie dollars. Not long ago, cd's were hovering around $30.00.

1 of our dollars buys .74 U.S. cents.
September 6th, 2005 03:44 AM
montana I got it for 17,30 €, I think it's the cheapest price in here, I've seen it for almost 19 € or maybe more.

Those prices quoted for the UK arent the norm. Only certain shops like Woolworths or Tescos would stock a brand new album for £9.97. In HMV (where I got it) it was £13.99. The standard retail price for albums in the UK is usually around £15.99 or £16.99. Even the Stones' 60's remastered ABCKO albums are going for that price!!

I've generally found that what we pay in £'s for albums, Americans pay an equivalent amount in dollars, which gives you some perspective when you see that the pound is usually worth anything between $1.60 and $1.80. At the minute, with the dollar being weak against the pound thats fluctuated slightly in our favour, but theres rarely much difference
