this may be old news - but it crossed the AP wire tonight while i was at work.

(Hong Kong-AP) -- The Rolling Stones will headline a four week-long musical festival intended to help Hong Kong recover from the effects of SARS.
Santana and R-and-B singer Craig David will also be on the bill. The festival will open October 15th and continue through November ninth. The Stones will play on November seventh and ninth. Tickets will cost up to 256-dollars.
An outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome dealt a heavy blow to Hong Kong's economy that was already struggling. The disease killed 299 people in the territory and sickened more than 17-hundred. |
